The responsibility of Eucharistic Ministers is to assist the priests in distributing the Eucharist at the Mass. In addition to Sunday Liturgies, Ministers also bring the Eucharist to members of the parish who are confined to home due to illness or in the hospital.

Some training is required for this role.
